Ultherapy is a highly customizable treatment making it a great choice for most patients. Our Aesthetic Nurse, Shannon, uses dual depth, ultrasound-guided technology to maximize your results. During the treatment, our nurse will be watching an ultrasound image of your treatment area to deliver this focused energy at the perfect depth for your specific anatomy.
This simple out-patient procedure is done in the office with topical numbing cream and, if needed, a mild sedative. Tylenol one hour before treatment is also advisable. Immediately following Ultherapy®, the skin may appear slightly pink or red but this color resolves on its own quickly. There may be slight swelling, tingling, or tenderness for a few days after the procedure as well. There are no restrictions after the procedure, and patients can return to their daily activities immediately.
Common treatment areas include the neck, under the chin, mid-face, around the eyes, and décolletage. For most, only one treatment is needed and your results will gradually unfold over the course of 2 to 3 months. To maintain the best results, the treatment should be repeated every one to two years as part of your beauty maintenance routine. Ultherapy can be combined nicely with fillers, microneedling, and laser treatments.
